SKY, EARTH, WATER
7 MARCH – 14 JUNE 2026
Sky, Earth, Water explores Rosalie Gascoigne’s deep connection to the material landscape, alongside significant new commissions by leading First Nations artists Lorraine Connelly-Northey, Janet Fieldhouse and Glenda Nicholls.
‘I have encountered many of Rosalie Gascoigne’s works over the years, yet the works by Lorraine Connelly Northey, with her powerful use of salvaged metal and woven forms, were completely absorbing and spectacular. Their strength and material presence created a compelling counterpoint to Gascoigne’s familiar language of landscape and found materials ‘.
It was such a joy to spend time in my studio with the incredibly talented artist @traceyannbelton . A meaningful exchange of ideas, encouragement, and shared laughter made the day feel very special. The studio visit was inspiring, and the time together deeply valued.
Tracey has a deep love of nature and honours it through the beautiful art materials she creates, each one grounded in respect for the natural world. While she is not teaching just yet, there is hope that workshops may be on the horizon. In the meantime, Tracey will be hosting renowned American artist @katethompsonartist the Flawed, Cracked and Fractured 5 day workshop in October. Book now for what will be an incredible experience. Today, on International Day Women’s Day, I want to celebrate the incredible creativity, courage, and vision of Iranian women artists. Through photography, painting, sculpture, film, and contemporary art, they continue to tell powerful stories about identity, culture, resilience, and freedom.
“I am not generally interested in considering women’s rights in relation to equality with men, or in a competition with men, but rather within their own rights”
