Wat Arun - The 🛕 of Dawn
At Wat Arun, every corner feels like stepping into a living myth.
Hidden within the temple’s intricate mosaics is Indra, the king of the heavens, riding the celestial elephant Erawan.
Erawan is a symbol of divine protection and cosmic order.
The temple itself reflects the ancient idea of the Trilokas, the three realms of existence: heaven, earth, and the underworld and its towering prang rising like the sacred Mount Meru connecting them all.
And around it, the scene feels just as magical.
Visitors dressed in elegant traditional Thai outfits walk through the courtyards, turning the temple grounds into a beautiful blend of culture, history, and living tradition.
Entering the temple at Wat Arun felt like stepping into another world.
Inside, everything was quiet, soft light, still air, and the calm presence of the Buddha.
Outside, the courtyards were alive with people, cameras, and visitors dressed in beautiful traditional Thai outfits.
Two worlds existing at the same time:
one filled with movement and voices,
the other with stillness and peace.

We discovered a spot in Onnut, Sukhumvit that completely surprised our tastebuds. Every drink had this beautiful infusion of spice — refreshing, bold, and so different from the usual café scene around here.

Red Heat Melon – 10/10 (our personal favourite 🔥)

Hot Tea
And the food? Perfect portions for two. Rich, layered flavours with actual spice — not the toned-down version.
As two Indians who genuinely love spicy food… we finally found a place that gets it.

Relaxed ambience. No rush. Tables spaced comfortably.
And the sweetest service attentive, warm, thoughtful.
