When I was his student 15 years ago, this was his main tenor. We consider this one of the best mark sixes- perfect in every way (balanced, warm with slight edge on top with perfect sizzle). You can play Stan Getz to Brecker on this horn, it doesn’t limit or box you in any way and provides maximum flexibility. The horn was regularly maintained by the top LA repairman Ivan Lukyanets before he passed away. Since it’s just been fully tuned up and ready for the next owner.
