What a first round! 🥈
After a winter full of late nights and stress, the championship season has finally come back around!
Last weekend held my debut race in the Production under 2000cc class ahead of this years season.
The Renault Clio RS that we built from the ground up didn’t miss a beat! Allowing me to lay down some competitive lap times and resulting me in taking the win in Q1 , Q2 and Q3 💪
The car is simply fantastic , so much fun to drive and super manageable with its low end torque.. a luxury I didn’t have in last years 1600cc Citreon C2! ◼️🟪
This left me in pole position in the final, though unfortunately a bad start put me in second place off the line and a defensive masterclass on by last years BTRDA champion, Alex Fletcher, meant that’s where I would remain! 🥈
Overall a fantastic result considering this was the first time I had driven a Renault Clio! 🤣
Some valuable lessons learnt, potential improvements identified and confidence gained ahead of the next round back at Blyton Park on 28th June 🥈💪◼️🟪

Despite the racing season being over… still been keeping busy! 🤘
November has been a great month with some very conflicting perspectives!
Firstly , I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to partake in the RM Sothebys London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.Even managed to score a fantastic lunch at the @royalautomobileclub in St James’s on the Saturday!
On the Sunday I was riding shotgun on a 1902 De Dion Bouton from Hyde Park to Mitcham, where I got off to help support other veterans as part of a pit stop team ⛽️
Was absolutely thrilled to later see that the De Dion had made it to Brighton under its own propulsion rather than on the back of a trailer - unsurprisingly this isn’t always guaranteed! 😂
Then onto the other end of the spectrum…
From 3Hp to over 300Hp I then was fortunate enough to have @stuartrx71 allow me to do a video on his Supermodified Peugeot 206 and even take it for a track day to get a feel for what it’s like!
Stuart and myself were very pleased with how quick I got used to the car and improved my confidence throughout the track day session at @lyddenhill 🏁
Also bonus points seeing as I didn’t spin out or overshoot any corners🤣
Now time to get to work in preparation for next years racing over the festive period… lots to do and lots of exciting stuff in the pipeline that we can’t wait to share with you all! 💪

Here’s two different perspectives of the same race in the final round of @btrdarallycrosschampionship in Scotland. it was so wet and slippery, as I found out getting off the racing line and on to the mud losing grip, speed and opening up a gap for @shepherd.rx to get on the grippier surface and come flying passed me to take the win. I learnt this lesson a few times this year where scanning the track ahead of me to look for the better surface is essential. Back in the summer in Wales the same thing happened where I didn’t stay on the clean line and ended up sliding off the track due to hitting the loose gravel thrown up on the outside of the bend. What a year it’s been, looking forward to 2026 where I’ll be back out in the same car, just need to lose 100kg off it to be more competitive. #btrdarallycross #suzukiSwift #motorsport #knockhill
Fantastic Finale! 🟪⬛️🟪
The final round of the 2025 @btrdarallycrosschampionship at @knockhillracingcircuit did not disappoint!🔥
With the circuit having such a large amount of loose gravel , the rain brought chaos! But the mighty C2 seemed to handle the challenging turns really well through the so called ‘valley of death’ 🤣
Personally I loved the circuit and had a fantastic first time out on the track. All in all was a fantastic day that brought some great results! The car held up fantastically and near didn’t miss a beat apart from another gear linkage failing in Q3 🫡
Amongst the chaos and many bends and bruises I managed to find myself bringing home a 1st in class 🥇 and 🥈 overall 💪
This leaves me delighted announce that we have finished the season as the provisional up to 1601cc production champions! 🏆
Massive thank you to all the organisers , Marshalls and competitors that enable such a great event to take place! 👍
Now to get back to work in preparation for next year! 🤘

Lydden Hill you was amazing! ⬛️🟪
Just as expected the experience at the home circuit @lyddenhill was incredible. Was fantastic to finally race the C2 in the @btrdarallycrosschampionship at the circuit I know best! 👍
It wasn’t an easy days racing and definitely brought its challenges! With lots of thrilling wheel to wheel action we resulted in a 2nd place finish in class 🥈
With Round 5 now done it leaves us in a strong lead on championship points with just one round to go at @knockhillracingcircuit on October the 19th! 💪
The support was just insane, it felt great to see so many people come down to watch and support the team! 🟪⬛️🟪⬛️
To everyone who supported us either by watching online or making their way down I can’t thank you enough. Same goes to the Marshalls , officials , organisers and competitors for allowing us to all have such a great time! 🤙

Brought home our first win!🏆🟪⬛️
Rounds 4 & 5 at Pembrey were a blast! 🏴
Had a brilliant Saturday with consistent improvements made throughout the day to both my driving and the set up of the car. Some fantastic racing and ended up bringing home our first win in the final! 🥇
Sunday proved to be a tougher day with troubles with suspension mounts (blown our 7th one this year!) and a broken gear linkage in one of the qualifying races. But all in all some fantastic racing and pleased with the lessons learned! 🥉
Massive thanks to the team who came so far and supported me so well! Extremely pleased with how it all went and couldn’t do it without you all! 💪🟪⬛️
Also a huge thanks to the all the stewards , Marshalls and officials who allow all of us drivers to have such a fantastic weekend of racing! 👍

Another fantastic days racing! 🥈
Last Sunday saw me competing at @blytonparkdc for Round 2 of the @btrdarallycrosschampionship Production Championship.
Securing 2nd place once more was an incredible achievement! I'm delighted with my growth as a driver, as well as the upgrades made to the car since our last 2nd-place finish in March.🟪⬛️
Big thank you to the Marshalls , organisers and everybody involved as well as my own team for allowing to compete in such a fantastic event. 👍

What an experience! 🇮🇪
Was an awesome first time racing overseas… though it definitely brought its challenges.
Arriving to find a broken brake line and finding out removing components to save weight had left us with a 50:50 brake bias prompted us to think on our feet a little. Lots of sideways action though…🤙🏼
We decided to blank off all pressure to the rear which left us with a 100:0 brake bias to the front. Not ideal at all but a great learning experience for me to be adaptive to an unsettled car.
Also with a suspension top mount blowing which definitely proved a test for the team in getting the car prepared under pressure to get back out.
Huge thanks to the team and everyone who showed up to support us—you were all incredible! 💪🏼
Also, a massive thanks to all the organizers, scrutineers, marshals, and officials—everyone who helped make the event so fantastic. We can’t wait to come back! 🇮🇪🟣🩶
