God is.. faithful, just, loving, and gracious. Through every high and low in my four years at Old Dominion University. He has carried, strengthened, and reminded me that He was here. There were moments of trials and tribulations but by His grace I persevered through it all. Every lesson, every setback, every accomplishment, and every milestone has been a part of His plan for my life and I am forever grateful. I give all glory and honor to Him because without God, none of this would have been possible. From the long study nights, tears, and perseverance to finally reaching this moment, He has kept me grounded and covered every step of the way. My story will always be for His glory. Thank you Lord for giving me strength. 🤍 To my family: Thank you for always believing and pushing me to keep going! All of the phone calls, words of encouragement, prayers, and love is deeply cherished in my heart. It takes a village, and ya’ll have stood behind me through it all and I am beyond thankful that God blessed me with a strong support system. To my friends: My real/day ones, ODU has blessed me with lifelong friends that I now call my family. I appreciate all of the love and support and thank ya’ll for constantly reminding me to keep the Lord first and pouring into me spiritually during every season of my life. 🤞🏾 Lastly, to Old Dominion University: MonarchNation! I will forever love my college and beyond proud to say I’m an ODU Alumna. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to chase my dreams and step into my purpose. I’m immensely grateful. #graduation #graduate #godsplan

Now this, is the best birthday gift I could ever ask for. In just 5 days, I will have earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Laziness, didn’t win. Procrastination, didn’t win. Self-sabotage, didn’t win. The enemy, did not win. Happy birthday to me 🎓 • • • Micah 7:7 “But me, I’m not giving up. I’m sticking around to see what God will do. I’m waiting for God to make things right. I’m counting on God to listen to me.”

finale year. Thank you for the lessons, the highlights, the quiet tears, the memories, and the grit it took to get here. God, You used this sport to refine me and prepare me, on and off the runway. The girl who first entered track and field could not have imagined who she is becoming. I count it all joy.

Not everyone can go that way…. But I did. To be so blessed to be who I’ve always wanted to become. Right now in this moment. Younger me would be so proud right now. Who knew we’d end up here? This is a declaration to myself. It doesn’t matter where I came from or what I came from, but everything that was planted within me to get here. Just a girl from SE, D.C. And this is a declaration to every other young woman watching: You are more than capable. We are not here to shrink, soften, or fit into limits that were never meant for us. We break them. Don’t conform to anyone else’s standards of who we should be. Dear AKA, thank you for taking a chance on a girl with a dream and a whole lot of drive. To be an Alpha Woman: a woman who puts in the work and never settles for anything less than her best. It takes grit to get here. I did exactly what I said I would and I’d do it again. 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒕𝒂 𝑬𝒑𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒐𝒏, Thankyou🩷 To God be the glory Main CharaKter signing out💐

They counted me out, so I made them count me in. 🎓 I started college as a business major with no passion or direction. I was failing classes, wanted to drop out, and honestly thought I had lost my spark academically. Then one day, my mother asked me if I knew what an LCSW was. The moment she explained it, something clicked for me. For the first time, I saw a future that truly aligned with who I am. I’ve always wanted to help people, but the world teaches us to chase money and believe that social workers “don’t make enough,” without understanding the critical role we play in changing lives and strengthening communities. Choosing to pursue my Bachelor of Social Work was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I walked into Intro to Social Work, I knew I was exactly where I belonged. I found purpose, community, and classrooms that challenged me in ways I had never experienced before. Through this journey, I learned so much about myself, and my life changed so that I could help change the lives of others. Tomorrow, I graduate from Norfolk State University, and I couldn’t be more proud of the woman I’ve become. ✔️ 3.5 GPA ✔️ Magna Cum Laude ✔️ Bachelor of Social Work …Master of Social Work loading

OH TO BE A DELTA GIRL…it’s every woman’s dream! If you’re not raising a Mid, then raise your standards. 🔺 First and foremost, thank You God for blessing me with this opportunity. I am truly blessed and highly favored. Every door opened, every lesson learned, and every obstacle overcome was only possible because of You. To my Illustrious 22 Founders, thank you for your vision, resilience, and unwavering dedication to creating a legacy that continues to impact generations. Because of your courage and commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action, women like me are able to walk proudly in the path you paved. I am deeply honored to uphold and continue the legacy you all started. To ΕΘ,
thank you for every word of encouragement, every lesson, and every act of love you have poured into me throughout this journey. You have not only guided me, but shaped me into a more disciplined, confident, and purposeful woman. Through your example, I’ve learned what grace under pressure looks like, what true leadership requires, and what it means to move with intention in everything I do. I am beyond grateful to call you all my big sisters. This legacy now lives within me, and I will always strive to embody the excellence, poise, and purpose of a Delta Woman. To my sisters,
the TRUE Yardrunners. The blueprint. The sTanDArd of excellence. You all make me beyond proud to call you my sisters. Seriously… there is nothing we can’t accomplish together. You all will forever hold such a special place in my heart. Despite our different personalities, backgrounds, and journeys, our bond is what makes us so unique, so genuine, and so unbreakable. Thank you for loving me at my best and standing beside me at my worst. Thank you for every laugh, every memory, and every word of encouragement. From stroll practice to service, late nights to celebrations — we experienced it all together, and I would not trade those moments for anything. My love for y’all will forever be DEEP. many are called…few are chosen. ΕΘ-SPR25-15 1st Vice President Mr. DST Scholarship Pageant Chair AOML ♥️

Every late night, every early morning, every tear, all the joy, and all the lessons have led to this moment. I didn’t just wish for it, I worked for it. The end of an era! Thank you to my family, my mom, my dad, my Meemaw, my Papaw, my Grandmere, my Grandpere, and everyone in between! Because your love has carried me through the last 4 years, this degree is as much yours as it is mine. I wish you were here in the physical Papaw, but I know you’re always with me. Grief is only love with no place to go. Thank you to my friends for the laughs, support, and love also! Most importantly, thank you Jesus for your faithfulness and unmerited favor. My time here at VCU has molded me into a brighter, better me, and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Though I don’t know what the future holds, I trust my next chapter because I know the author!🎓 Daniela J. Djeukeng, B.S. Psychology Minor, African American Studies Summa Cum Laude (4/4)
