Our upcoming Audio Social Mix comes from She Knapps (she/her) a DJ based in Bend, OR and her new mix is giving us all a soft place to land. Her sound is guided by emotions and she is drawn to bass music that feels ethereal and warm, the kind that gives you goosebumps and makes you feel connected to something bigger. Her selections drift through hip-hop, R&B, dub, grime, UK garage, and slower, weighty rhythms that move gently and linger.
For She Knapps, community is everything. “When things feel dark, I turn to my community… and I remember why we do it all.” That feeling of holding your people close, of making art and dancing together even in heavy times, sits at the heart of how she approaches music.
This mix was made during the quieter months, “in the heart of the winter feels,” shaped by introspection and inspired by the music of friends and community. It’s designed for late nights, long drives, and moments where you let yourself slow down.

Her sets explore a wide range of genres - hip-hop, R&B, dubstep, grime, UK garage, dancehall, amapiano, and bass-heavy sounds - always with an ear for soulful textures and feminine energy. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s vibrant music scene and natural beauty, she curates dance floors that feel intentional, immersive, and deeply connected.
