For years, I have been trying to make myself the perfect cup of coffee. One that feels like home to me. I’ve made good cups of coffee for myself over the years but never one that I was like “this is it”.
Yesterday for the first time ever, I had finally achieved my goal. I took my first sip and closed my eyes to savor the experience my taste buds were having. My cup of coffee was perfect. I finally did it. I at last made my coffee taste like home and it felt like I was slightly grounded. My spirit became calm and I felt fully present.
Funny how all of that can come from a simple cup of homemade coffee. ☕️✨
