12.13.2025 Haircut Day Phase 1: Shedding (starts about 1-3 weeks after first chemo treatment) At the beginning of chemo I told Emma I might be one of the lucky few who keeps all their hairs throughout this journey — she looked at me with her kind eyes and just gave me the warmest smile… yeah that was just me being dululu. Almost two weeks after my first treatment, Phase 1 of shedding has officially begun. Part of me wants to hold onto my hair because it makes me look “normal.” Losing it makes everything feel —— real. My sweet friends came over for Haircut Day to help me take control of my own narrative. @jess_goley worked her magic and made me feel so beautiful AND her cool boy, Coast, tagged along for the ride. Kat and Jazzy captured all the moments. Mom, Dad, Emma, Kristen, Judy—my rock. I am so incredibly blessed. Chemo may cause my hair to fall, but not one strand is forgotten by Jesus. “Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
