In 2008, he began to show his head in the graffiti painting industry under the name of sheep @sheep.chen , and then lived in Singapore. And won the silver medal in the Graffiti Contest in Singapore. His works have been invited to street art festivals in America, Europe and Australia for many times. His study tour experience made him experience art as a multi-dimensional experience in a multi-ethnic environment. It was his original intention to create and a proposition he always thought about. At this stage, he tried to use his unique ”sun“ label as a communication medium to spread the concept of love and balance. The boundary of his creation also starts from graffiti to shelf multimedia in a multi-dimensional way.

08年开始以Sheep艺名在涂鸦绘画界展露头角，后旅居新加坡。作品在多次受 邀参加美国、欧洲 、澳洲街头艺术节。游学的经历让他在多民族的环境下，体验 到艺术作为多维体验让不同肤色、国籍、信仰的人，参与到艺术作品中去，这是 他创作的初心，也是始终思考的命题，他在这一阶段尝试用自己的独特的“太阳” 标签作为沟通的媒介，传播爱、连接与平衡的理念。其创作的边界也从涂鸦开始 向架上多媒体展开多维度的探索。

Happy lunar new year of the horse. Here’s wishing everyone fire workhorse energy, for this prosperous year!
I was fortunate to start the new year faced with a new challenge, to collaborate on a mural with legend @sheep.chen for @artshousegroup aliwal arts centres side wall.
This piece is about balance and harmony, with a tamed and wild horse conjoined by the same body. And a sun and moon motif in the middle of the artwork. It explores both sides of nature, teaching us to embrace life and to also cherish the unpredictably of things. The background is embellished with filigree, that is referenced from the patterns found on neighboring kampong glam shophouses.
It was definitely a challenge, and I certainly had my doubts. But I was surrounded by positivity and a strong support system that truly believed I could do it and carry through.
I’m grateful to have learned and unlock new skills along this journey and process. A huge shoutout to festival director @songxfm ,who presented this opportunity to me. And the amazing people that supported and guided me, helping me see it thru till the end. 😊🙏

Symbiosis
I’m delighted to collaborate with @wolfsloth this time on the largest wall at aliwal.
We both expressed a new kind of symbiosis through our respective styles — a collision of styles and colors.
After two months of communication, we found order within chaos and changes within standards, achieving an amazing collaboration!
Twelve years on, being able to leave my work at the rscls studio holds extraordinary meaning for me.
Thank you to everyone at @rscls , to art director @songxfm , to the team @nimblemystic , and to @1ise.nuf for taking such good care of me.
Every trip to Singapore has been incredibly rewarding.

Meet the artists who turn our plain white walls into sprawling murals!
This year, SHEEP (@sheep.chen ), a street artist and muralist from China, collaborates with tattoo artist WOLFSLOTH (@wolfsloth ) to bring the festival theme 𝘚𝘺𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘴 to life at the New Feature Wall. Their mural blends SHEEP’s radiant sun motifs with WOLFSLOTH’s mythical creatures and nature‑inspired forms, creating a vibrant tribute to Kampong Gelam’s living heritage.
Over at the back wall of Aliwal Arts Centre, Egg Fiasco (@eggfiasco ), a visual artist from the Philippines, and muralist‑illustrator Chris Chai (@cosmicchai ) team up for a live graffiti painting session — crafting a piece inspired by old‑school video games fused with surreal and futuristic elements.
At #AUAF2026, art isn’t just made – it’s co‑created.
