The ”Heatherwick Studio: Building Soulfulness“ exhibition Opening Forum was held on January 16 in Fosun Foundation Shanghai. Jointly organised by Fosun Foundation and Shanghai Design Week, the forum invited Thomas Heatherwick @officialheatherwickstudio to present a keynote speech, followed by two panel discussions under the theme of ’Polyphony of the City‘. Bringing together experts from various disciplines, the two panel discussions respectively focused on the perspectives of cross-boundary synergies between architectural design and urban planning as well as the broader context of sustainable urban development, to explore possible pathways to create meaningful and sustainable contexts for cities in the midst of constant change.
