HYPED to officially announce I’m joining the Snow Shepherd team this year 🐑 🗡️ If you see this fresh pink kit fly by on the hill, you know who it is 😈

Val Thorens comp popping off tomorrow at 12:30 CST. My knee might not be feeling as fresh as this Snow Shepherd gear, but I still got a show planned for y’all 📸

THE CUT ⚔️ With the current FWT standings after these last two cancellations, I have officially made The Cut and am heading to Haines, AK and the Verbier Xtreme. It also means I’ll be returning to the @freerideworldtour again next year 😈
Even as a rookie, I know that every year The Cut comes around, it’s always bittersweet. You say goodbye to half of your best homies, whether you’re in or out. This year stings even more with 2 comps and a restage being cancelled, robbing many people of proving their skills or defending their position. Bummed it had to happen this way, but our changing climate has the final say, which also stings.
Now I look towards the two finals, and you better bet I’m putting everything I got into snatching that world title 🌍🏆Stoked and broke with a dream baby, LFG ⚡️

Two events and a restage all cancelled is a hard one to swallow, but stoked to get a lap down the Kühtai venue for funsies! Can’t thank the @freerideworldtour staff and commissioners enough for giving all their best efforts and putting our safety first 🫶🏼
On another note, there’s a bigger reason these cancellations due to avalanche risk are happening, one the ski community is all too familiar with:
Our changing climates.
Over the last several decades, climate and snow science has provided unequivocal evidence of increasingly unstable climates, highlighted by unpredictable and sporadic weather patterns in montane regions. This means longer dry spells and heavier storms, which is the precise recipe for burying persistent weak layers. This season we’ve struggled with the unprecedented issue of PWLs worldwide, and the series of unprecedented tragedies that have followed 🕊️ My heart sits heavy with the friends and families of the nearby souls who have laid rest in the mountains this season. Over the next changing years, I strongly encourage all who recreate in the backcountry to educate themselves and exercise heightened caution to this increasing PWL danger.
If these tragedies and scary conditions aren’t enough to make you mad at oil & gas monopolies and our world leaders for accelerating the collapse of our planet, I guarantee you there are many more reasons to care. Whether you recreate or not, climate change affects all of us in some way or another. I encourage everyone to make sustainable personal changes to their lifestyle, but what we really need is systemic change. It’s not your fault that get-filthy-rich snobs in power have dismantled our ecosystems and communities, but you can do something about it.
VOTE. Message Senators, local leaders, government organizations. Support NGOs that are doing the work with your dollar or social platform. Get educated. Acknowledge and listen to the indigenous peoples of the land you get to enjoy. Tell your friends. Spread the attitude. If you need help with how to act, how to feel about our world in collapse, or anything else with this topic, please message me. I want healthy happy people and a healthy happy planet
It happened! My first FWT podium! 🥈 I cannot possibly describe the happiness and magic of this day. After suffering an injury to my knee just before Baqueira, and multiple months of mental battles this summer/fall, this victory hits my heart even harder ❤️🔥 The conditions were absolutely epic, I almost forgot I was competing during moments of my run. What a joyride 🌊

This crew has become a new family. The best part of this whole experience has been hanging out with all the riders, FWT staff, friends and family. So thankful that my parents were here to see it, tears escaped my eyes as I gave my dad that first hug after my run. Thank you to everyone watching back home, and thank you to all my sponsors for making this possible for me 🫶🏼 Also shoutout Big Z, childhood idol 🐧

First @freerideworldtour stop under the belt ⚡️
3 days before the contest I sprained my right MCL in Verbier landing too flat on a cliff while practicing for the tour. A few minutes later, I was balling in some slopeside restaurant, unsure if I was even gonna be able to perform on the stage I’ve worked my whole life to get to. I rode the gondolas down to town and limped myself over to the hospital to get an answer. I was happy to hear I still had a chance.
On Thursday, I put down this run. Being myself’s hardest critic, at first I wasn’t proud of it, because I know I did not demonstrate what I’m capable of.
But with some more reflection and love from you all, I’m really stoked I made it down clean with a knee that I otherwise shouldn’t be snowboarding on. That scream I gave as I came into the corral is exactly how it feels to land a FWT run, regardless of the score, and I’m back on that wave now.
Taking the week the heal to knee before Val Thorens. Doctor said there’s high hopes I should be feeling nearly 100% by then so I’m HUNGRY to show the world what I can really do in France 😈
