I discovered @liminal_case ‘s work back in 2022 - i came across his vimeo and reached out for a potential collab , using some of his footage for a video i was making back then. He was in Atlanta, I was in Athens, and we were inbetween Covid. We exchanged some stuff, visuals, music, ideas and we stayed in touch. He told me about a film he was making, Unseen Olympiad, trying to portray the true feeling of unification, between young athletes, while competing for something bigger. True greatness. And to my surprise, he told me that he wanted to use Prism, from my last album, in the film. And it was purely special. Film is out now, visiting places, and this is a small piece he made of that world. Thank you for everything Casey, big love x PS: the whole film, and this clip is shot on analog kodak film, something that Casey specialises in , and it is considered to be the first sports documentary shot completely on analog film in over 20 years. Exciting stuff.

@autownitesuperstore was one of the first people to ever show interest in one of my videos on Vimeo when I was first starting out. Even though he lives in Greece and I’m in the US, he reached out to me to collaborate. Several years later, he released an album “RUNNING TOWARDS THE END OF THE LIGHT” while @mediamelissa and I were finishing the edit of @unseenolympiad . The song “Prism” fit perfectly in one of the segments. A few months later, the World Premiere of Unseen Olympiad took place at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, Auto Nite Superstore’s home town. These events are beyond chance. Producer @labatfilms and I discussed how we liked the idea of doing a soundtrack music video- similar to Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose” video (in Batman Forever, 1995), and Prism was the natural fit. The full video combines 16mm footage and slow motion footage captured on a Sony RX100 between our units in Lake Placid and Chengdu. The text on screen is inspired by the comment section of the Chinese social media BiliBili and is pulled directly from the script of Unseen Olympiad.
