Meant to post this earlier, but I’ve been deep in production and development.
As a Black creative who came into film through the music industry, I made a deliberate decision to sharpen my craft and take my storytelling to another level. (They cant deny who you are on paper)
Over the past few years I’ve trained intensely in cinematography, sound, visual storytelling, and camera operation — because I wanted the work and the training behind it to speak for itself when someone reads my name on paper.
Proud to have completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Cinematography & Directing from Full Sail University.
Along the way I’ve had peers ask me, “What are you doing?” or “Have you lost your mind?”
The truth is the only thing I lost was fear —
fear to grow,
fear to become greater,
fear to build something people haven’t seen before.
I’ve done it before.
I’ll do it again.
