Project: Florecer is one of the most important projects I’ve done recently. The idea was to have the @sharpfadepartners out in Brasil doing hair for a collection that we would just shoot in less than 24 hours. 💎 FRONT COVER FOR @barberevo SWIPE & ▶️ (READ BELOW) This project is very special for me because it was the FIRST ever shoot that I did as a Creative Director. Bringing something from the mind, to a board, to then real life is beautiful ….& now to a cover! But I was along side my great friends, so it felt right ❤️. Although it was shot 3 years ago it’s timeless & it was so much fun to create. We actually created this to launch the @sharpfade freshman class of 2021 with @wahlpro partnering with us. The reason I named this “ Project Sandbox” was because when you’re a kid playing in a sandbox your imagination runs wild & creativity flows through you. YOU CAN LITERALLY make your own empire. I was able to team up with 3 amazing artists on this. First one being the haircut you see on the FRONT cover by Chicago’s legendary @howtofadehair an artist that I watched when I was entering the barber industry…. Oh and I’m not talking watching on YouTube …….I was watching through 📀 DVDS and have been blessed to work with him on many projects! Second Artists is my brother from 🇵🇷 PR @joeltorresstyle someone who I’ve always looked up to and admire for his consistency, knowledge, and dedication to the Art. Not only did he do hair on this project BUT he also shot ALL of the photography 📸! Sooo you gotta love that talent ❤️! Third Artist is special because I’ve seen his growth from literally his beginnings on social media and has created waves in our industry. @z_ramsey someone who I’ve been blessed to travel the world with and a true artist and educator. 💎 So as you can see here patience is important , I waited years and years to get this first front cover ( first one ever ) & what’s beautiful about it is that it highlights ALL of us a collective of talented minds a creatives.
