When you’re feasting on bold, smoky legacy dishes like Tandoori Sea Bass, Moringa Jhinga, Asparagus Shami and Saffron Lamb Chops, it’s easy to forget that you are not, in fact, sitting around a campfire in Kumaon or Pench, with fresh ingredients being cooked over open flames and served directly on to your plate, as you banter away the night.
But that’s the magic of this space that gives you a taste of rustic charm with luxe feels. Perched on top of the grand, sweeping now-iconic stairway of
@stregismumbai Sahib Room has just had an atmospheric makeover with a steamer trunk facade, quietly winking chandeliers, and a plush shamiana vibe that at once transports you deep into the jungles of Rudyard Kipling’s beloved books.
