I was supposed to host a group trip in Northern Philippines but when it didn’t push though, the two girls who signed up from Norway and Indonesia🇳🇴🇮🇩 still wanted to explore 💕
We ended up scuba diving with thresher sharks in Malapascua and became PADI OW certified with @sharks.tail 🦈🤿
After Malapascua, we went home to my grandma’s✨ Honestly this trip was a last min plan but it became one I’ll never forget 🩷

I had to set 5 alarms, but trust me, it was worth it.
For these animals, you have to wake up very early because it takes time to get there, and they are active in the shallow waters very early.
I'm currently travelling around the Philippines, and Malapascua Island is one of the few places where you can witness thresher sharks in such abundance. It's so relieving that these key places exist and provide safe habitats for these animals, where conservation and ecotourism go hand in hand🙏🏻🤿
It's also very important to choose a good dive centre that won't allow you to touch anything, chase the sharks, or control your buoyancy, to avoid damaging the coral reef, as it serves as a habitat for fish that clean the sharks.
And that's why I 100% can recommend @sharks.tail the team and diving instructors were very professional, and I'm really looking forward to coming back🦈
