Bit late but a little photo dump from Madeira. Stunning, island, beautiful views, hairpin turns, sheer drops and lots of fun.

After what felt like forever of talking about it (sorry, everyone 😅), I finally did it. My first @hyroxuk with the fantastic @missclairahermet I just wanted to do it but had in my head a time of 1hr30 and we swept in at 1hr23. Really quite proud of myself! What they’ve done is kind of brilliant - yes there are all the elites and the pro’s but everyone is encouraged to do it no matter their abilities or circumstances. Everyone just gets stuck in together with a really good energy.

My reading haul from 2025. Very down on numbers - only 39 physical books read and obviously irked that it isn’t a nice, round 40 but anyway….(!) Some very good ones and my top ten is full of such incredibly, unique and different stories, I would highly recommend them all. As ever, there were lots of laugh out loud’s, snivelling tears on trains, shocks, joyous moments and lots of learning. My top ten in no particular order is: ⭐️ The Wedding People by @alison.espach ⭐️ The Husbands by @holly_gramazio ⭐️ Nesting by @roisinodonnellwriter ⭐️ The Women by @kristinhannahauthor ⭐️ The Silence In Between by @josie_ferguson_author ⭐️ The Safekeep by #yaelvanderwouden ⭐️ All The Colours of The Dark by @chriswhitakerauthor ⭐️ The Names by @florenceknapp_ ⭐️ When the Apricot Blooms by #ginawilkinson ⭐️ Fundamentally by @nussaibahyounis #books #lovereading #bookhaul

Ending the year in Marrakesh with my incredible Mum was such a blessing. She had a lot of “firsts” and was super brave and all-in with everything we did even though she was very nervous. She hadn’t done a trip like this in decades and certainly not without Dad. We ate some incredible food, saw some amazing things and it was topped off by the most beautiful hot-air balloon ride. Here are just a few of the highlights.

I have a dreadful memory. So when people ask me things like what this year was like, my instinct is to say awful — mostly because the last few months were heavy, messy, and ended with my dad’s death. Grief has a way of overshadowing everything else. So I forced myself to scroll back through the year — to look for the good, and for the lessons I might otherwise miss. What I saw was friendship, community, and connection (and how lucky I am). Old friends and new ones who feel like family — people who’ve been there in both the good and the bad. Celebrating Barmitzvahs, friend’s babies being born, dancing without a care in the world, being nostalgic, celebrating my birthday, travelling to Thailand, Albania, Turkey and Berlin with all of them. And ending the year in Marrakesh with my 85-year-old mum, who is, quite frankly, a fucking legend. I also realised how true it is that the more you know, the less you know. I’ve spent this year trying — sometimes clumsily — to work on myself (as always). To be more honest, more vulnerable, and to accept just how much there still is to learn. I did retreats, therapy, cried a lot, and said yes to things that scared me — including putting myself out there in ways I never have before. The world has felt dark at times. Some truly hateful things have happened and continue to happen and it’s reinforced something I know to be true: that we have to make decisions from a place of love and joy, not fear and hate. And despite everything, there has been joy. Even though it’s been a bit of a shitshow from beginning to end, I bought a little place in Mallorca this year — something I hope will be a gift not just to me, but to friends and family for years to come. I also started a new job, one I know will teach me a huge amount and stretch me in ways I don’t yet fully understand. This year has been hard — compounded by grief, that strange, universal, utterly personal thing. But if I have one intention for next year (just one!), it’s this: to loosen my grip, try to control less, and properly enjoy this life and the people I love. Happy, happy New Year to all ❤️

Yesterday I said goodbye to my Pops, Eric Sharff. He was 94. He was truly one of a kind. I will miss seeing him smile, he absolutely lit up when he smiled and it made me light up too. I will miss him sending me newspaper articles he thought I should read and they would be covered in apple stickers, without fail. I will miss playing Rummikub with him and Mum. I will miss sunbathing with him, in the garden, lying side by side. I will miss seeing him haggling and teaching me “how to ding” I will miss giving him manicures. I miss him giving me property advice - he gave me so much and provided for me an incredible amount and all he wanted in return was kisses and cuddles. I will miss him teaching me Yiddish phrases with utter gusto. I will miss his silly calls and noises. I will miss all his obsessions with cleaning toilets, turning off lights, closing doors and everything else. Mostly I will miss him being here and being my Dad. X

I was fifteen when I went to see @oasis at Loch Lomond, nearly 30 years ago. My brother was at that gig too. We hadn’t gone together but I saw him and I think our naughty, adult bond was formed there and we’ve been going to gigs together ever since. It was mega last night and to be there with him, @nicolajanebutt and my bessie @selwynnicole was brilliant. I cried twice when @noelthegoodrebelofficial sang #talktonight and #masterplan

Some of my faves from the Chelsea Flower Show although I barely took any I was so busy. Was there all week and still didn’t see it all. It was completely vast and overwhelming but also so stunning and beautiful and lovely. It was a privilege being there all week. Lots of fun. #rhschelsea #chelseaflowershow #flowergram #allthecolours #alltheflowers
