Shared Science is excited to host eRp! students at the 13th Annual Long Beach Robo-Bowl Jr. & TechFest, in partnership with LBUSD at McBride High School. ⚙️🤖
Designed for 4th and 5th graders, eRp! is an after-school robotics club where students build critical thinking, coding, and design skills through fun, hands-on learning—truly a team sport for the mind. Students learn robotics basics, then apply their skills through missions, builds, and challenges.
Join us on May 16, 2026, for the Robo-Bowl Jr. finale, featuring student showcases and interactive STEM booth activities for all ages. Don’t miss out, register today, link in bio! 🔗

Booth Spotlight ⚖️ Visit the Garden Grove High School Finnovators Club and test out the science behind buoyancy. There will be two stations, one with rubber ducks in a big tub that you would have to pick up with chopsticks, and another with filling an egg with supplies (the goal being to have the egg float in the MIDDLE of the tub). One will be a fun, interactive game, while the other is problem solving.

Booth Spotlight 🦈✨ The Shark Shack allows students to examine preserved shark specimens and to make connections between physical adaptations and the demands of survival in their environment. We also discuss stingrays, beach safety and the technology we use to tag and track sharks. We bring examples of these tags and go through key aspects of each and how they are chosen to help answer a scientific question.
