Professional bassist since 2017, Thomas has built his name through bands including Steel Mage, and currently holds down the low end for Ingested and Wormshepherd.
Bringing a heavy, aggressive foundation to the project, his approach blends precision with weight - locking everything together while pushing the intensity forward.

A multi-skilled musician with a focus on vocals, Jac has had his eyes set on the music industry since being a child and has carved a path through the underground metal scene since 2018 with his band Dystopian sun.
Taking influence from mid to late 2000’s Deathcore bands to craft a solid consistent vocal sound with an interesting dynamic range that helps bring the visceral storytelling to life, Jac is quoted as being… “A vocalist so demonic you’ll think you’ve arrived at the gates of hell to greet the devil himself”.
“It’s an exciting concept to be joining Tom and Curt in this project, I’m so looking forward to sharing what is coming up for Shards for the rest of 2026! Last year for me was an incredibly stressful year so to be able to have the creative freedom to put the anguish and self loathing I carried into 2026 into something new is definitely something to look forward to, both for me and the audience”.

His approach to composition is both technical and precise, balancing melody with darker, more aggressive elements. By mixing rapid, heavy riffs with otherworldly guitar phrasing, he creates a sound that feels both chaotic and controlled - defining the intense sonic landscape of Shards of Deception.
