Ommghhhhwhdughhyaaaahhhhhhh!!!! Myyyy childhood dreaaaam guysssss 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 When I was 7 years old, my Mama went to America to do his masters in Michigan. I asked him to send me snow through post. He laughed and said “that’s not possible Sharanya..” and so I said “ok then, send it in the petti with Paati!” - and he said okay to not break my joy! :D When I was 13, I visited America but during summer and of course there was no snow. But I created an email ID while I was there (snow_freeze90@…) 🥲 And now, at almost 36 years, I experienced my very first snow in Kasol (Himachal Pradesh) and made my baby snowman!!!!!!!! ☃️❄️☺️🥹 You have noooo idea how crazily happy I am right now.. life’s absolutely madeeeee!!!! Thank youuuuu @soupersubu - we’ve both had our first snow experience on our special day! 🥹🥹♥️♥️🤗🤗

The video is long enough, so I’ll share my thoughts in short. :) Actors often say they’re excited by the chance to live many lives. Somewhere in the middle of making art, I realised I’m doing the same thing - slipping into different perspectives and letting them take shape through the process. Maybe art, in any form, is just our way of learning how to be many. 🌸🙏🏻

My gooood friend Arun @eternaloptimister shared a super special piece of news with me this afternoon because he knew exactly what it would mean to me. 🤍 Seeing Cassandra Kulukundis win for Casting at the Academy Awards today felt amazing!!!!! 😍😍 Everything she spoke about in her speech resonated so deeply with my thoughts and the way I have come to understand and approach this work. Not just because this category exists for the first time… but because it actually acknowledges a process that has always been built on instinct, patience and immense care! Casting has never felt like a “task” to me. It has always felt like working with human stories even before they reach the screen. It is sitting with people… understanding where they come from… seeing something in them that they may not even see yet. It is valuing and gently holding a director’s vision… and finding the people who can truly breathe life into it. For the longest time, this space has been vital to storytelling and yet not always fully understood. So moments like this feel SOO SOO GOOD. Huge love and congratulations to Cassandra for this beautiful win and for reminding so many of us why we fell in love with this process in the first place. I’m a self taught mandala artist who started exploring art in 2016. In this beautiful journey, I had the opportunity and pleasure of sharing my experiences with many people through regular classes and with my ‘Meditate with Mandala’ sessions! 🌸 From 2018, my life began to fully focus on my Casting Company and I never really got to spend time on art much… This year - 2026, I decided I would create one art piece every month and also spend time again teaching people who wanted this experience. Never in my dreams did I imagine teaching 120 women online!!!! The best part is how my belief of ‘everyone can draw’ came to life - there are a few presented on this post… :) Sharanyeah is SO HAPPY.
