What I thought was cute turned into a full time unpaid job managing herbs like a high stakes corporate account, monitoring soil, adjusting water, emotionally invested for no reason.
We show up to the fair acting calm like we didn’t just live through something. Other parents have the same look, hollow, knowing. No one says it out loud.
And somehow we win?? For cilantro?? 🏆 I’m thrilled. I’m unwell.
Parents should be getting cash prizes. Or a boat. Something real. Because this was psychological warfare.
And now that it’s over, my cilantro can finally rest. Probably better than I can. 🪦🌿⚰️
