It is with deep sadness I announce the passing of my (Charlie Forbes) dad. This man created shame. This band simply would not exist without him. From sorting us out with our first practice space, paying for our first demos, adorning the cover of our second album Drunk Tank Pink and straight up naming the band, it is impossible to understate quite how integral this man was in creating just the right conditions for our band to flourish.
In this moment, we need your help. In classic Simon Forbes fashion, he has passed away in a foreign country, with no health insurance. We’re facing thousands of pounds of expenditure just to get him home to South London, not to mention funeral costs and getting my mum and sister home from Thailand (where they’ve been stranded since this happened).
