this is but a small glimpse of my life from this year š
to keep it short, 2024 was a great year that taught me so much of what i need to be my best self ā as a creative, a young woman, and also for my community. but even with this yearās learning curve, thereās so much to give thanks for. i feel blessed that i got to travel more and experience new places almost every month this year. iām grateful for my 2nd year at BlackStar and to have had the opportunity to work on two film sets. iām thankful for the friends in my life who have kept me sane all year and have given me grace + patience. and most importantly, iām extremely blessed to have celebrated 10 years of friendship with my Turlington fam this past summer š¾
i am immensely proud of everything i accomplished in 2024, and im leaving this year feeling prepared for all thatās to come in 2025 š«š„āš½

2022 coincided w my life path number (22) & my purpose and destiny havenāt felt clearer. couldnāt even fit all the memories into just 10 photos, but this year was one of the best (& BUSIEST) iāve had. i began this year unsure of what my journey into filmmaking would entail and ended this year LEAPS ahead of where i thought iād be ā a programming director & a festival manager to SIX festivals w my first production credit, an incredible feat for an ole small town gurlie. extremely grateful to everyone i met this year. iām so excited to continue the work in 2023!!
