@iwearthesameoutfiteveryday presents: I wear a tracksuit every day. The tracksuit quickly transcended its athletic origins to become a symbol of mobility, youth culture, and informal dress. After the Firebird line first gained momentum in the 1980s, the tracksuit increasingly circulated across diverse contexts, from sports and hip-hop to streetwear and luxury fashion, embodying both discipline and leisure. Within this trajectory, the Adidas Firebird line gained iconic status. Its lightweight material, bold colours, and three-stripe branding made it a staple of both professional sport and casual culture, cementing its place as one of the most recognisable tracksuits in the world. Now in the seventh year of my outfit project, I am committing to the tracksuit for an entire year to explore how a garment that has become so normalised and socially integrated influences daily interactions and perception. Though tracksuits are often overlooked in everyday life, a bright red matching set pushes the garment back towards its striking origins, making it impossible to go unnoticed. I am particularly curious to observe the social dynamics that will emerge in response to this, having noticed drastic changes in engagement and behaviour during the year I wore formal attire. This year’s capsule consists of a newly acquired Adidas Firebird top and bottoms, complemented by older pieces sourced online, including a crewneck sweater and seasonal outerwear. These additions ensure the aesthetic continuity of the tracksuit across all seasons and activities, reinforcing its presence as a year-round uniform. Thank you to everyone who has supported the project over the years, and to all who have contributed through conversation and feedback. 📸: @ollygeary And thanks to @yannicaloghiris 💇🏽‍♀️💈: @foos1e Thanks to @katjagotcha for the major support and helping me out with some of the garments

‘Apple Pencil’ Ø 8.9 × 155 mm Apple Pencil (2nd generation), graphite and metal pencil tip By transforming the Apple Pencil into a functional graphite pencil, the work reverts the digital stylus to its analogue predecessor, simplifying the layered intricacies of consumer technology and aligning the object once more with its name, form, and origin. A numbered edition of 10 fully converted Apple Pencils, presented in their original packaging, will be available soon. An interchangeable version is currently in development, allowing existing Apple Pencil users to switch between analogue and digital tips while preserving the device’s original functionality.

I am excited to launch my long-awaited portfolio website, a functional replica of the macOS Finder. More carefully curated, it mirrors the internal structure of my own Finder, giving people a glimpse inside my computer. By adopting a familiar interface, the site offers a natural way of navigating the work, making it easy to browse, read, compare, and select pieces from within folders. Over time, the website will continue to grow and morph, gradually becoming more personal and including more process-based material. This would have only been possible by the most talented, patient and dedicated @bosman.xyz ❕💕✨ and happy to announce the website was awarded with top 100 websites on @wedotart 🫶🏽

‘MacBook Air, No Air’ is a vacuum-sealed MacBook Air, completely stripped of air and functionality. What was once a portal to the digital world becomes a fossil of it: preserved yet silenced. The suffocation of the object points to the paradox of digital life, in which tools meant to liberate us often enclose us within cycles of overconsumption, distraction, and dependency. ‘Macbook Air, No Air’

New work will be shown at Memory Vacuum – Digital Echoes at @thegreyspaceinthemiddle Curated by @balazs.milanik and opening coming friday the 9th Project text: ‘.zip’ (dot zip) is a painting of the macOS zip-file icon. The visual symbol of a file format that condenses multiple files into a single losslessly compressed archive is translated into the language of paint. The work brings the logic of digital compression into material form, making tangible something typically overlooked. An almost weightless and purely functional object that hovers between image and interface, aesthetic and system. It is a representation of how digital culture aestheticises efficiency, speed, and the promise of control. A zip file is a vessel of technological memory, preserving fragments of personal and collective life for later retrieval, yet it is also a sealed container—a bubble of hidden data. 75 x 60 cm Oil on canvas ‘.zip’ is part of the mini series ‘compressed’

SHAI DATAUKER Command-Z (x3), 2025. Altered Apple Magic Keyboard. 28 cm×12 cm. Not So Magic Mouse, 2025. Apple Magic Mouse, lightning cable, mousetrap. 20 cm×10 cm. Born from both fascination and disgust for the objects and systems that surround and control us, my practice is driven by awe and curiosity. Rooted in minimalism, I explore paradoxical familiarities within (technological) consumer culture, questioning how production, consumption, and restriction shape contemporary life. This takes form through extreme dedication and long-term endurance projects, such as my ongoing ‘I wear the same outfit every day’, which is currently in its seventh year, or through strategies of restraint that aim to minimise material output. I often work with readymades and thoughtfully designed, highly reduced paintings, creating installations using limitation itself as a medium. My work merges physical processes with conceptual strategies, treating design tools not only as instruments of innovation but also as mirrors of cultural excess. It emphasises impermanence and paradox: the cycle of creating and erasing, while consuming and being consumed. Moving between the languages of art, design, and cultural critique, I aim to create spaces of reflection where restriction becomes a tool for liberation, and where the everyday is re-seen through conceptual and transdisciplinary lenses. @shaimans Curation: Tina Roeder (@tinasroeder ). Lately I’ve been trying to make some changes to my digital consumption, reducing screen time in exchange for more high quality leisure (also the name of my show on @radio.worm ), which proves to be insanely difficult. Earlier this summer I did a month long digital detox, and one of the changes that stayed with me is listening to music on my iPod shuffle (4th gen, 2010), which holds only 2 GB of storage. With this limitation, I’m slowly rebuilding my offline music library and discovering more variety and patience in what I listen to.
