After years of chasing planes, I am so happy I finally got to witness the F-117 Nighthawk in the wild.
Rumored to be retired for over a decade, the world’s first stealth aircraft feels unreal to see in person. The angular shape is not about aesthetics or aerodynamics. Back in the day, computers didint have enough power to model curves, so engineers relied on flat surfaces to solve the math for stealth.
The design was meant to minimize radar reflection, giving the F-117 a signature closer to a bird than a plane.
Easily one of the coolest aircrafts I’ve ever seen fly.

Convoluted Line A and Convoluted Line B works are winding steel earth liners inserted into a raised concrete floor inspired his early works from the 60’s in California and Nevada deserts, but this time inside a gallery in Chelsea.
Such an interesting concept and one of the coolest art shows I’ve seen in a while. On display till end of March.
