Happy Monday gang.. Each year on MLK day I post about this great man. Flawed in many ways which makes his brilliance and greatness so much brighter.. I usually post his speech but i wanted to post my thoughts about our great nation and the divide we seemly cannot heal. I’m old enough to understand the lessons that history teaches us that we often overlook.. And it’s the price of progress.. The understanding of where we are at as a collective civilization and that we cannot move in leap in bounds, even when the direction is so clear.. That the power of our movement forward falls not in the burden of truth but in the power of cooperation between all for the common good.. Nobody will ever have the same stance on things.. It’s what makes us special.. Our differences is our strengths.. To understand that we will repeat history but to have the perception not to repeat its outcome.. To understand the future will not be built by the righteous man but be designed by the optimus.. To have the courage to live side by side with nature and become neighbors with those who are different than you.. Ive danced next to republicans, democrats, independents and others side by side.. None of which knew or cared what color their opinions were. And in those moments we were equal. We were together.. Call me dreamer .. But we have a moment to change history.. If we do it together..
