I wrote the Ucha Pahado Maa song a long time ago, and it just fits this Chacha Ji I met. He is one of the few who celebrate the mountains by choosing to stay back and keeping our culture alive by living as our ancestors did.
We met on a trek from mayali to Panvali when I went to perform at the Kafal Festival. Rudraprayag was a rollercoaster in all the possible ways. Let's see what happens next...
