Yesterday, I went & prayed by the ocean, gave gratitude to the land for welcoming me back here. Sat with her, sang to her, got to really feel her beneath my feet, her heart beat.
Today was another beautiful day in the jungle, however spirit decided to let me experience a deep initiation into being here. The level of care & support I received today from the beautiful humans I am surrounded by here
@danyasa_yoga_retreat just added another layer to how grateful I am to be here, now. 🙏🏼
My dear sister
@honey_bee_courageous shared this song with me recently , Arms of Love by
@alexasunshinerose & it’s been an anthem for me in this chapter of life .
A song of the he(art), a lullaby for my soul, a grounding essence to be ever present with all that’s around me .
Anchoring in song & fine tuning the instrument that is always with(in) me, my voice.
Follow your joy, whatever it’s is! Singing has always lit me up & serenading Pachamama brings me even greater peace in honoring her, myself, each other .
When I was younger I stopped sharing songs. I use to recite the lyrics to ones I loved, memorize them, & sing them loud. Sometimes we create blocks from things projected at us by others, we take on a story that is not our own, & we hide pieces of ourselves, to protect us overall, so we make ourselves small, to fit in.
However, maybe you were never meant to “fit in” to these beliefs, boxes, or systems you were born into. You were never meant to play small, you are meant to take up space, it is safe to be you. Remember, who you truly are.
Over the last few years I began to find my voice again, to put down what was never mine to carry, to speak up & speak my truth, healed my thyroid in the process, as it’s all interconnected (I’ll share more on this another time though).
So this is my invitation to you … if you stopped singing, dancing, playing, creating art , for whatever reasons that may be, please, begin again.
Your voice, your magic, your he(art) is needed more than ever on this planet, at this time.
We rise & we shine, even brighter, stronger, together.
Namaste 🙏🏼🤍✨🌊
