It wasn’t about the goals scored that day. ⚽
It was about the laughter shared, the confidence sparked, and the genuine connections formed on the pitch. 😄
Former national footballers Gabriel and Faritz met their match in Faizal, Catherine, and Kaushal — whose curiosity, energy, and infectious spirit truly set the pace of the game. 🎙️
This is what Colour Socks Parade 2026 is all about: creating inclusive spaces where Persons with Intellectual Disability feel empowered to shine, belong, and thrive — through sport, community and shared joy.

As part of Colour Socks Parade 2026, we were honoured to welcome President Tharman Shanmugaratnam (@tharman.sg ) to MINDS Regional Hub (Queenstown) to Paint-a-Ball with our MINDS Craft artists. 💛
During the visit, President Tharman also toured various MINDS programmes and spaces, where he interacted with trainees and staff and learned more about how MINDS supports persons with intellectual disability (PWIDs) and families through education, employment training and community-based services.
Every painted football tells a story — of abilities, aspirations and the communities that stand alongside PWIDs.
Join us in supporting the movement through Paint-a-Ball and be part of creating a more inclusive Singapore. 🎨⚽

What happens when more than 160 persons with intellectual disability, 70 caregivers, and 150 volunteers come together? ⚡️An afternoon filled with games, cheers, and unforgettable moments of inclusion at Anderson-Serangoon Junior College.
From bocce and soccer to an exciting relay race with special guest @runnerkao 🏁✨, the energy on the field was unmatched. While participants took on the games, caregivers also had time to recharge through wellness and sharing sessions by MINDS Clinic and MINDS STEP services. 💙
A big thank you to Anderson-Serangoon Junior College, Gardenia, and all our volunteers and supporters for making the day possible.
Because inclusion happens when communities come together. 🙌

🌱 Fresh harvests, meaningful connections, and a growing community.
Our second Farmers’ Market at Regional Hub (Hougang) brought together trainees, staff, and community members in support of our hydroponics farm initiative. Participants had the opportunity to engage with visitors, share about the farm, and sell freshly harvested produce grown right here at Regional Hub (Hougang).
Moments like these go beyond the market stall — they build confidence, create connections, and celebrate the journey of growth together.
💚 Thank you to everyone who came by to support us! Stay tuned for upcoming Farmers’ Markets, workshops and tours as our hydroponics journey continues to grow.

[Colour Socks Parade 2026 – Inclusive Sports Fiesta]
Happy to attend the Colour Socks Parade (CSP) – Inclusive Sports Fiesta (ISF) organised by @sgminds recently!
Each year, the community comes together to celebrate the diverse abilities and talents of persons with intellectual disability. This year, the celebrations kicked off with the ISF, and I was delighted to meet many MINDS clients, caregivers, volunteers, partners and members of the public for a fun-filled morning of games and activities to foster inclusivity through sports.
It was also an opportunity to recognise contributions of MINDS’ corporate and community partners, whose support create more meaningful opportunities for persons with intellectual disability to develop skills, build confidence and lead more fulfilling and independent lives. It was also heartwarming to see the spirit of inclusivity come alive through beautifully designed crafts and bakes by MINDS Social Enterprises and caregivers!
The CSP campaign is ongoing till 30 June 2026. Every act of support, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can build a more inclusive Singapore for all to thrive!

Football brings people together, and this is what inclusion looks like. ⚽️
I’m happy to be partnering with MINDS for Colour Socks Parade 2026, supporting persons with intellectual disability and their families to live with purpose and dignity.
I’ll be at the Inclusive Sports Fiesta, and I’d love for you to drop by and experience it with us, a day where sports, community, and inclusion come together in the most meaningful way.
Let’s play, connect, and celebrate what inclusion truly looks like. 💛
📅 25 April, 10am–5pm
📍 OCBC Square
See you there!
A little friendly competition. A lot of heart. ⚽💛
When Kaushal stepped up to the challenge, it wasn’t just about football skills — it was about confidence, joy, and showing what’s possible when everyone is given the chance to shine.
Former Team Singapore footballers Gabriel Quak and Faritz Hameed may have brought the game, but Kaushal brought the spirit. 🔥
Moments like these reflect what Colour Socks Parade stands for: creating spaces where persons with intellectual disability can participate, connect, and thrive through sport.
