The year is 2021. May 14th, to be exact. Exactly 5 years since I first touched clay. A one hour wheel throwing class turned into a passionate 5 years building a brand. I got lucky. So, so lucky. To have met Min, my instructor at the time who worked at Clayspace where I met the wonderful Janine who took me in and saw the potential and drive I had towards this medium. @clayspace_bk has been my only home for all these years and dammit, it’s a good one. I was never one to keep at a job for so long, let alone a hobby. Starting ceramics literally changed my life. It’s made me lifelong friends and given me incredible opportunities. What a dream it was (and still is) to come in and just be able to make whatever it is I wanted to make. I went through 6+ jobs during my time here and that doesn’t include going full time at ceramics in 2022 hahah. Anyhoo, please swipe for a short journey down memory lane. 1.15.26 Got to go visit my friends @drmtlgy yesterday to celebrate their launch with @ultabeauty @bedfordstudiosnyc ✨ DRMTLGY and I worked together to bring a ceramic Ulta bag to life along with minis of their products so it was quite a treat when I got to meet the team just a train ride away. I feel so grateful to live in the city where everything happens and to be part of different communities. Everything I do is somehow always connected to coffee so I was thrilled to finally try @bedfordstudionyc coffee and boooy was it delicious! Anyways, go visit an Ulta near you for some @drmtlgy and pick up some delicious coffee @bedfordstudionyc ☕️ Thank you for supporting this coffee loving creative who gets to live her dreams making one of a kind ceramics with brands who do cute coffee shop popups 🥹 ya girl loves a cute event, art and sipping on a good coffee. 📸: @promua.aleah

Closing out the year by making work for @drmtlgy x @ultabeauty 👜 So grateful to have been chosen to make ceramic versions of iconic products that are now in 1,400+ Ulta stores nationwide 😌 I’ll never get over the fact that I get to make art as a living and work with incredible brands/ people. Back to back weekends of Renegade 🔥 As always, thank you for all the love you’ve given us both throughout these years of doing this show. It’s our favorite thing ever knowing the pieces you buy from us are going to be gifted/ rehomed outside of our little desk at our communal studio.
