One month in LA. What an incredible adventure to get to go on with our family. Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, living life in Brentwood, endless Sunday markets, Malibu, Sony Studios, The Grove, Erewhons and endless scouting stores for inspiration for the brands I'm building, Chateau Marmont, Great White coffees, navigating driving on the wrong side of the road on the wrong side of the car, new school, insane Pilates classes, robot cars. And in the middle of it all this week the passing of Simon's dad, Roy, someone so special to us. His push was for us to go and live life to the fullest and not wait around or waste precious time. So as Sime flys back to New Zealand it's been worth remembering that life is really just a series of experiences that should be lived fully and not waited around for. Everything this month has given us, the time together, is what should be treasured. 🤍
