To our son on your first birthday,
You have been the absolute best addition to our family. Your happy and easy-going nature has made this two-kid thing easier than I could have ever imagined. You bring so much joy and laughter and continue to delight us with your growing curiosity, playfulness, and sense of humor. We love watching you learn new things, practice new skills and eat new foods. You are all the love in the world, my Happy Goose.
Our first trip as a family of four consisted of mediocre children’s activities, lots of sweat, great food and drinks, and two restless plane rides. It was a successful trip. Charleston, you are beautiful!
