Harassment shouldn’t be part of your commute. EyesOnBoard is a mapping platform dedicated to logging and documenting instances of harassment on San Francisco’s public transportation. Submit your reports at eyesonboard.sftransitriders.org. This project was created by our wonderful SFTR members, led by Indigo Rosenberg.

It’s been one year since the Mayor announced changes to car-free Market Street. So what have we learned? 🚲 Bike traffic is up 25% from last year — demand for safer, people-centered streets is real. 🚗 But loopholes remain: Waymo, Uber, and Lyft Black trips are rare, yet private vehicles are increasingly misusing loading bays, double-parking, and pushing cyclists into bus lanes. We were proud to testify that the answer isn’t to backtrack. Instead, it’s to build on what’s working. Our asks: → Close the commercial passenger vehicle loophole → Harden and protect the quick-build infrastructure → Test transit vehicles in center lanes to free up the curb → Re-evaluate separated bike infrastructure between 8th & Steuart → Invest in placemaking to make Market a corridor people want to be on Thank you to our partners in the Keep Market Street Moving coalition: @sfbike @sftru @walksf @dsa_sf . Special appreciation to Supervisor @bilalmahmood for convening the hearing. Market Street can be vibrant AND safe. We’ll keep fighting for both. Stay tuned for next steps.
