🧋What a day on Ocean Avenue!
Our Boba Festival sold out with nearly 200 attendees—bringing people from across San Francisco, the Bay Area and beyond to explore the corridor.
From shop to shop, we saw new favorites discovered, people gathering, and so much energy throughout Ocean Ave. This is exactly what we’re aiming for—more foot traffic, more visibility, and more love for Ocean Avenue’s amazing businesses.

Please join the SFMTA, the Ocean Avenue Association, Supervisor Myrna Melgar, and Supervisor Chyanne Chen for two townhalls on transportation along and around Ocean Avenue.
In March 2024, the SFMTA Board approved the K Ingleside Rapid Project to improve transit, traffic, and safety on Ocean Avenue through parking and loading improvements, transit-only lanes, and expanded transit loading islands.
These townhalls are an opportunity for members of the public to be heard and share what additional improvements can be made to make Ocean Avenue more accessible.

Boba, music, and community vibes 🧋🎶 Join us Saturday, April 18, from 2–4 PM for the Ocean Avenue Boba Festival, a walkable tasting experience bringing the community together along the corridor. Check in at 1720 Ocean Ave to pick up your tasting tickets and event map, then explore each stop at your own pace.
Our boba lineup is officially set, featuring Dots Boba, Sweet Cupz, Blue Ocean Cafe, and Cherry Blossom Bakery, each serving mini signature drinks along the route. We’re also excited to welcome ViBO Music School, which will be playing live acoustic sets throughout the event, adding to the atmosphere along Ocean Avenue. Expect good drinks, music, and a few extra goodies and surprises along the way ✨

Balboa Reservoir Development Team invites the community to a public meeting on April 4 from 12–2 PM at Unity Plaza (1040 Ocean Ave) to share updates on AvalonBay’s Buildings C, D & G and overall progress on the Balboa Reservoir project. The meeting will include updated design presentations, insights on construction now underway, and an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the development team and architects, ask questions, and provide feedback ahead of the formal permitting phase.
