Most students learn about money from a textbook. My students got to hear the real numbers behind a real deal. One of my students asked me how I got into my first real estate deal, so I broke down how I bought this school building for $1 million, put $200,000 down, got it at 0% interest, and later refinanced it after it appraised for almost 800k more .
