Ich bin euch noch die Bilder vom Tumbling-Kurs mit @christelgietmann in der @quiltzauberei schuldig 😊✂️🧵 Es war ein wunderschöner Tag mit ganz vielen lieben Menschen, tollen Gesprächen, viel Gelächter und natürlich ganz viel Nähzeit. Christel hat den Kurs mit viel Geduld und guter Laune begleitet, und es hat riesigen Spaß gemacht, die Tumbling-Blöcke Stück für Stück entstehen zu sehen. Ich habe mich für den wunderschönen Stoff „Floral Reef“ von @tulapink entschieden 💕 Die leuchtenden Farben gefallen mir total gut und passen perfekt zu diesem tollen 3D-Muster. Auch die magnetische Schneidematte von @sewtites kam zum Einsatz und war beim Zuschneiden und Ausrichten der Teile eine richtig tolle Unterstützung 😊 Ich liebe diese Schneidematte 😍 Neben dem Nähen wurde viel gequatscht, gefachsimpelt und sich gegenseitig inspiriert – genau solche kreativen Tage liebe ich einfach 😊 Danke an Christel und an alle, die diesen Tag so besonders gemacht haben ❤️ Enthält unbezahlte Werbung #quiltzauberei #tulapinkfabric #tulapinkfloralreef #sewtites #patchworkkurs I still owe you the photos from the Tumbling course with Christel at Quiltzauberei 😊✂️🧵 It was such a wonderful day filled with lovely people, great conversations, lots of laughter, and of course plenty of sewing time. Christel guided the class with so much patience and good humor, and it was so much fun watching the Tumbling blocks come together piece by piece. I chose the beautiful “Floral Reef” fabric by Tula Pink 💕 I absolutely love the vibrant colors, and they work perfectly with this amazing 3D pattern. The magnetic cutting mat from SewTites also came into use and was such a great help while cutting and aligning the pieces 😊 Besides sewing, there was lots of chatting, sharing ideas, and inspiring each other — these are exactly the kind of creative days I truly love 😊 I came home with so many wonderful impressions, new ideas, and of course my Tumbling project in progress — and with a big smile on my face 😊 A huge thank you to Christel and everyone who made this day so special ❤️

👋 Hi Chicago! The SewTites team has gathered for some team building before the H+H Show. Some work (and play 👀), to plan and brainstorm our next best ideas.

Working on the hand stitching for my portion of the h+h Art Installation for @hhamericas 2026! I cut out dozens of needles in the shape of different @schmetzneedles needles and fused them to my background. Today I'm stitching the flower petal outlines around each needle with the Sue Spargo thread from @wonderfilspecialtythread ! I'm loving how they are turning out! I've left space in each flower to fill with a @sewtites needle minder to serve as the flower center. #swanamity #hhamericas

Strap in for a long video of me showing how I use the @sewtites Sew Magnetic cutting system! Ya girl was born a certified yapper, what can I say. As many of you know, I have had carpal tunnel syndrome for 11 years now and it’s a ~struggle~ to cut fabric with a regular acrylic rulers and cutting mat because of my decreased grip/hand strength. As I mention in my video, I’ve tried nearly every product out there to make rulers more non-slip, but I was still having issues. This bad boy is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Yes, this is an investment, but I show you in the video that you can still use the rulers you already have with it, as long as they have a little grip on the back of them. I I absolutely recommend this if you have arthritis, carpal tunnel, hand pain, or just struggle to cut straight! P.S. The top I’m wearing is the #paulkleesweater by @midori_hirose_knit , that I made short sleeved.
