and an april recap yesterday was my last day on the team and i cant lie its a bittersweet feeling. tbh when i first joined the crew i was gonna leave after the first week, and now i cant imagine the person i wouldve been if it wasnt for my @brickhouse.nyc family fr. theres something electrifying about being surrounded by people who share the same goals and passion, all working together and pushing each other to be better, and that raw energy is something ill carry with me forever and always. ya know i gotta give flowers to @kellypetersnyc for seeing something in me when i had the dookie braids and no foundation 😭😭😭😭 nah all jokes aside tho kellys been the greatest mentor mentally and spiritually ever since i first met him. not too much to say you know how it go ❤️ reaching further from brickhouse, having the privilege and ability to dance with inspiring dancers and learn from amazing mentors is something ill never take for granted. hella inspiring and suuuper blessed to dance and train alongside you guys ❤️ ALSO THEY HAD THE KIDD IN CANADA??!?!!?! super super grateful to not only go international and do what i love to do, but to do it with a deebo ass cast as well 🇨🇦 CALGARY ICONZ UP A MILLION FEEL MEEEEEEE im dancing for joy, spreading love at moonlight-speed, keeping the spark alive, and persevering all for sam 🕊️ ON TO NEW BEGINNINGS THO AYYYYYY #bronx #llsj

x @redbulldance although i didnt compete, this event felt less like a competition and more like a bunch of pure creatives coming together just to exchange energy. even as far as how close the crowd was to the stage made everything feel alot more connected than other “showcases”. people on the sides turning each other up, session circles opening up without second thought, and the boundaries between performer and spectator blurring as it became more of a celebration as a community rather than a competition makes it all the more beautiful. im forever grateful to @kellypetersnyc for not only the opportunity be in these rooms and experience how dazzling art is, but to be able to perform with my @brickhouse.nyc and @royalthieves_nyc family. WE KEEPING THE SPARK ALIVE TRUST!!!!! #bronx
