So sad that Beauty and the Beast at @jstagemeragejcc closed, this was the best show experience I’ve had the joy to work on in a couple years. I spent almost half a year designing and building scenery and costumes for this piece and working with my friend @carinamoralesofficial to put this whole show together. Forgot to tag pictures by the amazing @jason_niedle Rapunzel and Her Holiday Wish Opened this Weekend! I honestly can’t remember my official title, but I costume designed this show, designed makeup, painted scenery and handmade many of the costumes in the show. I had 2 days to make @darcyrosebyrnes purple dress and scrolling through my page you’ll recognize a great deal of the costumes I had made in my own style/ take of fantasized period costumes. This show has as many of my friends would say a very Haven Look, bright poppy and untraditional colors for the period, of which is not directly stated. Life’s been pretty rough recently, I had the opportunity to go to an event at the biltmore with my friend Patrick and an old friend from high school Cooper and his partner. It was a welcome distraction and a nice opportunity to dress up! While I own a-lot of costumes I don’t actually own much in my size, so this summer I’m hoping to make myself some new pieces. The vest is from 1932 and in amazing shape though! And the tie I really love is from the 40s with the most interesting pleat design. #biltmore #1930sfashion #1930s #1940sfashion #1940s

Thanks to @aprilvphoto for these amazing new headshots! Last year was one of the hardest years for me, emotionally in every way. Losing my grandparents really broke me and forced me to reevaluate how I was living. I made an active decision to take better care of myself in December and I’m down about 17 pounds. I wasn’t eating well, or taking care of myself. While I’m still working to create a more balanced life, I’m doing so much better and I think the darker hair better suits my complexion. I feel a lot more like me now ❤️

I never had the chance to post photos of Once Upon a Matress that I co designed with my lovely new friend @carinaleecostumery ! I designed the queen in Carina designed Winfred, which I thought was really fun that they’re very opposite. My design is heavily inspired by the @bobmackie design for Carol Burnette. I wanted this costume to feel angular/ sharp/ intense and was inspired by the intensity of fire/ flames. With accents in light blue for the brightest/ hottest part of the flame. This dress took a team to make, @tlnista did a wonderful job patterning, Ryn in the shop put it together and I trimmed the dress and made appliques and accents which took about 20-30 hours of handstitching. @maggiehammonddesign made the headpiece which very effectively in both a design and literal sense heightened the actress. 📷: @photosbybobke Charlie Brown opens this weekend and I could not be more proud! I costume, wig, and scenic designed this show as well as perform as Linus! I styled 14 wigs for the show. Dyed, added black bias tape and hand painted 15 costumes with the help of the amazing @nataliatheexplorer . The cast helped base paint the set and we created some wonderfully vibrant pieces that are intended to bring th comic strip to life! I worked on both @jstagemeragejcc and @theelectriccompanytheatre and we were able to collaborate to create two amazingly vibrant productions of the show that were so creatively different and exciting. I loved collaborating to with Artistic director and show Director @carinamoralesofficial to create the exciting visual concepts in this show! Singing has always been an outlet for me, and the people that loved listening most were my grandparents. Recently songs and events keep triggering an emotional recall that is very intense and I’m learning how to tread life without them. A specific person keeps being the trigger of so many memories and I’m thinking maybe I need to stop talking to that person 😅. I hope you enjoy this chaotic late night video.

I don’t think I’ve posted enough about my designs for my biggest project last year. Cinderella was a huge production that I production designed, costume and scenic designed as well as co choreographed. It was a huge labor of love I handmade all of the stepfamily costumes and wanted to show my renderings with the final products for their village and ball costumes. So proud of that show and team!
