Always be ready to pivot. As a creative working in an industry that’s ever evolving. It’s important to be ready and open to adjusting your plans.

In my world we like to revisit the decades past. With our own modern twist. Make it yours, by combining multiple references you can create something unique. Go on honey! Take a chance.

Comparison is the thief of joy they say. The only comparison I make is with my past. Learning from past experiences. Not only focusing on what needs to be improved. Praising what was great to begin with.

As artist sometimes we have to take things into our own hands. If you want to see something in the world, create it. The idea doesn’t have to be a new. Revisit it, plan it, execute it. Network across and use what you got to get where you want to be!

It’s all made up! So why not make up your own world. Just pure imagination. We need a little more whimsy in the world, don’t you think?

Sometimes all you have to do is look within for a little inspiration. To remember why you started. And do it often. Remind yourself who you are every time you need to! Don’t let that imposter syndrome creep in.

Haven’t been posting much on the timeline, with so much going on in the world, it felt a little irrelevant to me. Had to remind myself, posting was always for motivational purposes. I don’t know if you will agree, but we could use a little of that these days.
There’s a lot going on in this world. It’s worth it to stop and enjoy the good moments. @stephaniealicia__ You are stunning inside and out and I want to thank you for trusting me with this precious moment. Comment below if you want to see all the pictures.
It’s Black History Month yall!! And I refuse to let another day go by where I’m not WALKING IN IT!! Cause at this point idc if you’ve seen it before. Look again! And really get into it.
2016 was a blur in the best way.
Finding these photos took me right back to the year I really got intentional, and started moving with purpose. It was the moment I grew comfortable calling myself a professional, not just someone with ideas, but someone building something real. I was discovering new parts of myself in real time, learning my voice, trusting my perspective, and carving out space in the beauty industry. If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that I hope to keep evolving…forever.
