Self Efficacy Through Tooling Theory (SETTTheory), a program curated by
@kentmundle from
@districtdevelopmentunit and
@architecturelandinitiative , is a format for a recursive event that brings together inter-disciplinarians to share and discuss their ‘tools’ that they implement towards practices of social, political, or environmental change.
The first edition will take place on November 09 2024 at 4pm
@currentplans during the course of the exhibition "BEAU 2014-2024", the monographic exhibition of the Hong Kong based architecture studio BEAU. beau_architects
If each SETTTheory event collects a range of tools from a variety of practitioners of different disciplines organised around a theme, then after a series of events a compendium of tools can be made available to the public and SETTTheory community as a kind of index for transferable practices towards positive change.
Each event is organised around a ‘SET’, a collection of tool kits with shared traits.
This first event is SETTTheory: Tools for Social Change, with the following list of speakers: • Clarissa Lim, Making Mamak (Cultural Worker)
@cl44r • Joshua Bolchover, District Devlepment Unit/HKU (Architect) • Eunice Tsang, Current Plans (Curator)
@currentplans • Adrianna Lee, RICE (Guerilla Gig Producer)
@adri_currently_offline_zfdgabh • Maggie Ma, Domat (Architect)
