Our Refreshment Gardens are open, and looking so lovely in the sun! Come down and say hello, soak up some glorious Spring sunshine, and try out some of our brand new menu additions. And don't forget to explore The Lodge, a brand-new addition to our gardens made possible by The Monday Trust and our amazing team at Miss Victoria's Emporium. Open 10-4 today and this weekend, tucked in behind Victoria Hall in a wonderful, peaceful spot that's just a stone's throw from Settle town centre and the station.

Next week's listings at Victoria Hall! Tuesday 19th, 8pm- Pop Will Eat Itself. Yes, it's really them! Pop Will Eat Itself released critically acclaimed album Delete Everything - their first for 10 years – in October 2025 and smashed through a huge tour to celebrate its release. Still riding that wave, they’re back with a run of dates in May 2026 playing a mix of old and new favourites. Wednesday 20th, 7pm- Frida Kahlo. Exhibition on Screen’s award-winning film is back by popular demand with an exciting new addition from the blockbuster transatlantic exhibition from Tate Britain and MFA Houston 'Frida Kahlo: the Making of an Icon'. Friday 22nd- Northern Soul in Settle. Soul music from the halcyon clubs of the Sixties and Seventies. Wigan Casino, Blackpool Mecca, Twisted Wheel. Motown, Northern soul, Seventies and today's sounds. Sunday 24th, 4pm- What is Pentecost? A Christian celebration from Churches Together in Settle and District, featuring entertainment from The Ayrton Farmers’ Band and more. And of course, our beautiful Refreshment Gardens are open Tuesday and Thursday-Sunday for hot and cold food, licensed bar, delicious cakes and fun in the sun!

Next week's listings! Tuesday 12th, 7pm- Underland. Based on the bestselling book by Robert Macfarlane, UNDERLAND is a cinematic documentary that voyages into worlds rarely glimpsed by human eyes. Thursday 14th, 7.30pm- Manran. For over 15 years, Mànran has been at the heart of the Scottish traditional music scene, earning a reputation as one of the genre’s most exciting and influential bands. Friday 15th, 8pm- Barbara Dickson. In this special semi-acoustic performance, Barbara Dickson and her pianist Nick Holland explore her catalogue of songs at an intimate level. Saturday 16th, 8pm- Elephant Sessions. Over the past decade and more, Elephant Sessions have grown from grassroots beginnings to become one of the most prominent acts in contemporary folk music. Around the UK in Classic Railway Posters, with Jane Ellis Wednesday, 7pm- All My Sons from National Theatre Live. Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths) feature in a five-star, triumphantly acclaimed new production of Arthur Miller’s classic play. Thursday, 7.30pm- Martin Simpson. One of England’s most revered folk performers, widely acknowledged as one of the finest acoustic and slide guitar players in the world, Martin's interpretations of traditional songs are masterpieces of storytelling. Friday, 8pm- Oysterband’s John Jones with Ray Cooper and Al Scott. John Jones is best known as the powerful and charismatic singer with Oysterband, one of the leading folk/rock and roots outfits on the UK music scene. Saturday, 7.30pm- Melodeons in Ribblesdale. Felicity Cloake travels the world to eat: she’s cycled round France in search of the perfect croissant; toured the UK exploring the Great British breakfast; and comes to Settle Victoria Hall, as her latest book, ‘Peach Street to Lobster Lane’, a culinary tour of America, comes out in paperback. Friday 17th- Peter Howarth. Peter Howarth, lead singer with The Hollies and West End star of Only the Lonely - The Roy Orbison Story, invites you to join him for an acoustic solo show as he performs some of the all-time favourite hits such as He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother, You Got It, and Pretty Woman. Saturday 18th- Karnataka. Known for their breathtaking fusion of symphonic rock, dynamic arrangements, and heartfelt lyrics, Karnataka is set to reignite the stage, delivering an unforgettable live experience for fans old and new. Characterised by riotous inventiveness, technically gifted individual playing and subtle collaborative interaction, this coming together of several of the biggest names on the folk-roots scene, combines a deep knowledge of roots traditions with a ceaselessly boundary pushing approach. Thursday 9th, 8pm- The Daintees Trio. 40 years ago Martin Stephenson & The Daintees released critically acclaimed debut album ‘Boat To Bolivia’. In Spring 2026, Martin celebrates the milestone with a stripped back acoustic trio tour of smaller, more intimate venues. Friday 10th, 8pm- Track Dogs. “Sun-shiny songs thriving on dark themes behind irresistible rhythms.” Long-time favourites on the live music scene from festivals to club gigs, Madrid-based Track Dogs have built a very distinctive sound, drawing on folk, Americana, and jazz. Saturday 11th, 7.30pm- The Captain's Beard. The Captain’s Beard are one of the UK’s most seasoned folk-rock and sea shanty groups. Playing over a hundred shows a year, they’ve carried their tales of the sea from rowdy taverns to large festival stages.
