We celebrate mothers who shape us, especially St. Monica, the patron saint of mothers, whose behind-the-scenes influence on her son, St. Augustine of Hippo, gave us one of the Church's most prominent theologians! Her sacrifices and her son's ministry helped set the stage for hospitable preaching.
Learn more about Augustinian spirituality from Fr. Doug Milewski's talk, "Restless Heart Speaks to Restless Heart." Find this talk and all our videos at the link in our bio!
A lifetime devoted to nursing will now help prepare the next generation of caregivers.
Seton Hall University has received a transformative $1 million estate gift from the Estate of Shirley Croteau, a registered nurse whose career spanned more than 50 years. Her generosity will provide scholarship support for incoming students in the College of Nursing, helping expand access to one of the nation’s top nursing programs.
This gift advances the Preparing Leaders Now pillar of the For All, Forever campaign by opening doors for future nurses who will lead with compassion, skill and service for years to come.

The eleven disciples went to Galilee,
to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them.
When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted.
Then Jesus approached and said to them,
“All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20
