It’s been two weeks since we officially wrapped production of
@thelastweekfilm and I still can’t believe it. I wrote this film almost exactly last year during a point of my life where I truly had no idea where to go. No direction, no motivation, just lost. So I wrote it all out. This film goes out to my 13-year-old self, who was the biggest dreamer out there. If he saw what we just did here, he’d be on top of the world.
I want to save a lot of what I want to say when the film is officially complete, but I want to acknowledge and thank my amazing and talented cast & crew. Throughout the entire process I was met with the same love, care, and dedication with this story by every single person on set. I knew that I had created something really special. From the production team to camera to G&E to production design to BTS, the amount of passion and hard work from everyone made my heart so full and I am extremely lucky I got to see each person in their element. None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you, so thank you with all of my heart. 🧡
@whyeddieg , you took everything I ever wanted with this film and elevated it even higher. You have been my partner in crime since day 0 and you have made this entire thing physically possible. You are the man.
@alexandersarvide you are a visionary. You have literally turned my dreams into a reality and delivered so much magic through the lens. I am so incredibly grateful to have created this together with you.
@romo.t.lee @graham_dav212 @lady_ginseng @alfierosupan all of you brought these characters to life and created so much depth to this story that I could not have done without each of you. Your performances moved and inspired me. My favorite part of filmmaking has always been working with the actors and you guys have solidified it.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and this project and got us to this point. 13-year-old me would have never thought that one of my stories would ever reach this level of production and I can’t wait to continue the process and share it with the world. 💫
