The new @slywithers album TBH is almost here. Decided to have a dig through the archives to share some Live Photo’s roughly covering the “in between” period of these album cycles. Some fun memories covering Hyper 2024 just before the release of Everything, then later in the year at the Roundhouse in Sydney for the Stand Atlantic tour and a couple of months back for Sidefest at my second home the Rosemount Hotel. Anyway happy listening, my favourites are Setting Fires and Say Nothing.
Got to photograph the @therionsband for their massive show at the @astortheatre this time last month. Could be one of my favourite shows ever. The energy from the barricade to the back row made my evening.
I feel like I am early for a 2025 recap but my calendar is a little quiet for the rest of the month.
We’re looking at total of 53 gigs this year, including 10 festivals, which was great after a few sleepy years on that front.
I feel incredibly privileged to be able to pursue this as a “career” into my mid-twenties. Although I am still balancing freelance work with a part-time job, this has been one of the most validating years for me in the music world. I’m equally excited and nervous for what the next 12 months could have in store.
