What an absolute blast it was to be part of School House Parks Rocks 2026! Thank you to the Covington Events Association and all our community members, leaders, workers and volunteers who made this year another great success.
For sure, the biggest highlight for me was getting to close Friday night out in style alongside my fellow Covingtonians,Isaac Schaefer Jr., Lee Harmon, Bradly Wildenhaus, and Titus Bowman. (And of course Zachary Pack on a Rogers Covington Kit). I’m looking forward to see this festival continue to grow , providing lots of joy and fellowship for all who attend.

This song holds a special place in my heart. Since I was a kid I’ve always connected with Celtic music. Once I learned I have Irish and Scottish heritage on my dad’s side, it all made sense.
This song has served as a lullaby to my Emery Grace from day one. It has helped soothe her to sleep, calm her down when emotions are high, and simply enjoy a sunny day cruise by the river with the windows rolled down. This one is dedicated to her, my little Lass.
This song was self-recorded, mixed and produced at @neighborhoodrecording . As always, my confidant and trusted partner, @chrisstewart1047 , lent his ears and wise council as I worked on this. Additionally, nothing I ever do moves forward until it passes the @thebigisaac seal of approval.
I was lucky enough to have an extremely talented fiddle player by the name of @philipbowenmusic lend his gift to this. His Appalachian sensibility really brought this song home for me, as my mom’s roots run there.
