Years ago I started keeping a song journal, one song per day, tied to whatever that day became. Thousands of days later, the playlists are as random as my life has been. Over time they resurface like old photos, reminding me where I’ve been. That’s the point.

A moment in Detroit history.
Two of the best to ever do it, together for the first time, in their hometown.
Two guitars, one barely two weeks old freshly painted in Honolulu blue, the other 75+ years old, full of holes and held together by duct tape. Like history catching up to itself.
Grateful to the @detroitlionsnfl , to Paul and Em for trusting us with it, and to the entire team that gives up their holidays so that others can enjoy theirs.
What a dream for my first JCE project to be with such an incredible group of artists as part of my favorite team winning the greatest World Series in baseball history.
500+ performers. 10 playoff games. 8 Shohei homers. 3 w.s. games with the man who made me a Dodger fan. Too many history making moments to count. And the first back to back champs in 25 years.
Weeks don’t get much better than these.
They say change is always an opportunity. This one feels like the opportunity of a lifetime. Lucky to have known I was in the good ol’ days while I was still in them.
