Congratulations to Seth who has signed a contract with Charlton Athletic after a successful trial. As parents we are so proud of how he has handled himself during the trial particularly as he had to juggle this at the same time as transitioning to Senior school.
Of course there are a few thank you’s because it truly takes a village!
To Karl @kentelitescoutingacademy for believing in Seth from day one and always providing him with the platforms to showcase himself. The experience he’s had leading up to this trial really helped prepare him and also for recommending him to Charlton.
To @juniorelitefc , for the support he’s had since he arrived there last season and to all the current under 12 team. One of the top grass roots clubs in South London.
To @goalgetter_sports and particularly @coachmelo_ggs who Seth had 1-2-1’s with regularly and all the holiday sessions he attended with you guys there who are all top coaches.
Also thank you @coachdom___ for some fantastic top bins sessions!
Finally to @coachjayxp who truly pushed Seth this last year to be the best player he could be and with @coach_antz at @xtrapercenttraining they identified the weaknesses he needed to work on to move forward ⚡️

Winners today of the Indoor League Street Futsal. A good defensive display from Seth also contributing a couple of goals including scoring the only goal in the Watford game which was a must win to ensure they topped the league today! All the boys played brilliantly ⭐️
2025 had been a year of ups and downs for Seth showing that the journey is long, and never straight forward.
Started 2025 playing for one of the best grass roots teams in South London and benefiting massively from the coaching and the environment that they offer at @juniorelitefc and especially to the best coach @coachjayxp
Enjoyed success with his primary school team at Tubbenden managed and supported by @sportacusltd taking them to the primary schools final representing Bromley and narrowly missing out on the final.
Went to Barcelona and won the Mare Nostrum Cup with @footballfutureskent_ an experience we won’t ever forget.
Spent around 8 weeks at Tottenham in their EDC which was where he really gained so much confidence and realised he belonged at the next level.
Hit a real low in May and early June with a hamstring injury that taught him so much as a player. Patience and the importance of looking after your body. He did however watch his team Crystal Palace lift the FA CUP!
Fought hard to get back to fitness and didn’t give up on the dream. Reward came thanks to @kentelitescoutingacademy and Karl who never ever gave up in his belief in Seth and he landed a trial at Charlton. The rest was history at they say.
Now thriving at a great academy and ready for everything that 2026 has to come.
Shout out to Seth’s good friend @o.d__31 who’s been through it this year and will no doubt come back stronger and hopefully will get to face you sometime soon on the pitch ❤️
Great to see @o.d__31 today at the Palace Academy. Sadly it wasn’t the head to head we’d hoped for but pleased to see all going well with the rehab. Onwards and upwards 🙌🏻
On a personal note, Seth was glad to get 70 minutes in the bank after a couple weeks out for various things. Very tired now! Feet up ready to watch the England match.
Away day playing West Brom as well as Aston Villa and first time visiting the Bodymoor Heath academy which was very nice. Seth played left back, right back and centre back, none of which are his usual positions but he did really well and it’s safe to say after 70 minutes of game time and a 6am departure this morning, he will sleep well tonight 😵💫🙌🏻
Great to have @coachjayxp down to watch Seth today. A solid performance and a good win against Brighton with a goal ⚽️ and an assist 🅰️ under his belt. A big week of adjustment coming up and then back to it next week 🙌🏻
