We were so excited to welcome #ShiresArtist Alejandro Lopez Velarde, Principal Trombonist of the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de México, to the showroom earlier this week!
In addition to his orchestral position, Alejandro was the Winner of the First Latin-American Trombone Competition and the "Manuel M. Ponce" prize.
A co-founder of the Trombontepec ensemble and festival, now a cornerstone of Mexico's brass scene, he is committed to expanding the trombone repertoire by collaborating with Mexican composers to create and promote new works.
Alejandro left with a DF Alessi Model and Custom Alto Trombone and says,
