✨ARTIST CALLOUT✨ After an incredible response to our previous callout for our volunteer designer role, moving forward, we are now rotating volunteer artists for each of the clubs, and we’re looking for more submissions to add to the pool! As a featured artist for a supper club, you will be responsible for creating the look and feel for the social posts for the club based on Serving Bristol’s brand and the menu for the club and create: ✨An announcement poster ✨A GoFundMe Announcement social post ✨A suite of small design elements to be used for the follow-up post This is a volunteer role, but as well as knowing you’re contributing to raising money for gender-affirming care, all artists will receive a limited-edition Serving T-Shirt. If you’re interested, let us know and send some examples of your work to [email protected]

✨ (Re)Introducing the Serving team ✨ It’s been a while since we have done one of these, and there are over 1,500 of you now (!). So far, with Serving, we’ve run 18 supper clubs and raised nearly £8,000 for gender-affirming care, and we couldn’t do it without your support, our incredible team of volunteers, and the people behind the scenes. So, thank you. -- Robbie | Chef & Founder | he/him Robbie started Serving a few years ago as a way to show up for the trans people in his community. An enthusiastic-amateur turned almost-professional, he learnt everything from blogs, books, and YouTube. He loves tacos and his current fixation is ice cream. Mel | Chef | they/them Mel is a chef working in community food justice across Bristol. They can occasionally be found serving Chinese comfort food with their street food company @meimeisstreetcart , or attempting to grow stubborn south east Asian brassicas with their queer, multicultural growing group: Chinese Cabbage Club. They believe nutritious, tasty, affordable food should be accessible to all, and dream of opening a surplus community cafe Jardine | Marketing | they/she Jardine isn’t a chef, but they can cook the same four comfort meals on repeat. They have been working in marketing for social-focused communities on and off for nearly a decade, and are a strong believer in Serving’s mission, which brings two of their greatest passions together - advocating for trans rights and eating food much better than they can cook. We also want to take this as an opportunity to say a massive thank you to Kit for all the incredible work he has done co-founding Serving. We love you and miss you! — Serving is a queer-run non-profit supper club that raises funds for gender-affirming care. ✨FUNDRAISER CALLOUT✨ So far, we have raised over £8,000 across our supper clubs, and we’re now looking for new fundraisers to add to our pool for donations. Each club, a fundraiser is randomly selected, and although we welcome submissions from all backgrounds, we are particularly interested in receiving submissions from transfemme people, trans+ BIPOC people and people from working-class backgrounds. Submission link is in our bio ⭐️

Since launching, we have hosted over 20 supper clubs and raised over £10,000 in direct funds towards gender-affirming care! Serving was born out of the frustration with trans healthcare in the UK and the desire to do something about it by bringing people together and creating collective support. Now more than ever, community is power, and we simply cannot do it without your help - so thank you. Thank you to everyone who has attended a supper club, been a part of our vital volunteering team, or helped spread the word about us and our mission of bringing the discussion around trans healthcare to the dinner table. To celebrate this major milestone, we will be hosting a special event on the 19th of July. But more on that soon. 👀
