Taro n Sweet Potato V2 linears from @keebzncables . These are manufactured by Keynation, which is an offshoot on BSUN. Typical with this manu, the factory lubing is pretty darn good and they're super smooth. I didn't notice any crap noises on these. Soundwise - they're on the deeper end of the sound spectrum but do have a nice little pop to them. They have a 3.4mm travel which I quite enjoy as that is in my wheelhouse for travel. Goji Reserve light tactiles from @invokeysco . Man, there are sooo many good light tactiles out there. Add these to the list, they really surprised me. Manufacturered by BSUN, these are great right out of the packaging. Made with POM top.and bottom housings and a POK stem They have a great clacky sound profile. The tactility isn't that heavy or strong so if you're used to linears, these are great to dip your toe into the world of tactiles. No extra work needed on em either, factory lube is gud. FR4 vs POM plate on the Akko SPR67 🎧 Which do you prefer? Overall, the board has a marbly sound signature and both plates give off very similar sounds but there are minor differences so here are my thoughts on how they compare to each other, summed up: 🎹 FR4 Sound: More balanced (less variation in pitch), quieter in comparison to POM Feel: Stiffer than the POM plate but still has decent flex and you can also play around with lighter or heavier spring mounts 🎹 POM Sound: Richer sound textures and a fuller sound, louder compared to the FR4 plate Feel: More flexible than the FR4 plate but not ridiculously flexible, though I have yet to try it with the lightest spring mount (120g spring) My pick is would be POM simply because it sounds more vibrant irl and I like the feel a bit more but I’m also really loving how the spacebar sounds on the FR4. You really can’t go wrong either way though 💓 .
